elevator(s) and receiving our risk management educational
bulletins.
Basis is the difference between the cash bids and the futures
price. Knowing basis and the seasonal basis history is the corner
stone of cash marketing. Being knowledgeable and informed about
basis provides our customers with an advantage over those who
ignore basis. The historical basis and current new crop basis
(which is plotted on graphs twice a month) are provided for quick
and easy reference.

GCME provides e-mail and an 800 number for fast and effective
communication.
***Includes annual risk management planning and monitoring as instructed by customer.
The fee for this service is based on the combined normal yields
of corn, soybeans and wheat. It is as follows: 3 cents per bushel
on 25,000 bushel to and including 50,000 bushel.
2 1/2 cents per bushel on 51,000 bushel up to and including
99,000 bushel.
2 cents per bushel on 100,000 bushel and over.
